Who it's for

For every kind of Warrior.

Many of the families who ride with us have a child who needs a little more: more space, more support, a calmer place to be, or an easier way in and out. WonderFold Warriors is for children with mobility challenges, sensory sensitivities, physical disabilities, neurodivergent needs such as autism or ADHD, complex medical needs, and anxiety or emotional support needs.

If your child's practitioner can see how a WonderFold would help, we'd love to hear from you.

Our ambassador

Meet Cody.

Cody is our WonderFold ambassador. You'll see him and his W2 at the beach, on the pier and out with his family, with his walker along for the ride.

Families like Cody's are why WonderFold Warriors exists: fewer barriers to getting out together.

WonderFold stroller wagons are not medical devices.

What families tell us matters

Space, entry, calm.

Descriptions of the wagon, not medical claims. Every child is different; talk to your OT or therapist about what suits yours.

Getting in

The front zip door opens the end of the carriage, so children can climb or be helped in at a comfortable height.

Space

84 × 53 cm inside a W4. The single seat replaces a bench to free up floor space for equipment or a rest.

Getting around

74 cm wide on the W4 and W6, through standard doorways, with all-terrain wheels for parks and paths.

Quiet time

Canopy, roll-out shade and mesh sides make a shaded, calmer space. Some children like to lie down with the seats out.

Growing with them

45 kg per bench on the W4 and W6, so older and taller children can still ride.

From a WonderFold family

"My three year old twin grandsons love being in it especially our amazing autistic Leo. When he is feeling extra sensitive he lays on the floor under the seats and surrounds himself with a mountain of stuffed toys and is very happy there and there is still plenty of room for his brother to sit in comfort. … She can now take the boys places by herself that she couldn’t do with just a double pram."

Buying with the NDIS

How it works with your plan.

We sell a lot of WonderFolds to NDIS families, and we're happy to help with the paperwork. Whether it's funded is a decision for the NDIA with your plan and your therapist; we can't advise on eligibility.

Self-managed

Buy directly from us with your Warriors pricing. We'll give you a tax invoice to claim against your plan.

Plan-managed

Ask for a quote in your application. Once it's approved by your plan manager, we invoice them directly.

NDIA-managed

NDIA-managed plans can only pay registered NDIS providers, and Warriors pricing isn't available on these purchases. Talk to your support coordinator or LAC.

Your therapist

Your OT can advise whether a WonderFold suits your child's goals and which budget it may fit. We can send them product specifications.

Questions

Warriors and the NDIS.

Who can apply?

Families whose child has been assessed by a medical practitioner, OT or allied health professional as benefiting from a WonderFold, emotionally, physically, socially or psychologically. There's no list of qualifying diagnoses: every child is different.

What do Warriors get?

25% off WonderFold wagons and accessories, help choosing the right size and set-up, and an NDIS quote or tax invoice if you need one.

Who needs to confirm my application?

Your child's GP, paediatrician, OT, physio or another registered practitioner. Upload their signed letter, or give us their details and tick that we can contact them.

How long does approval take?

Usually 3 to 5 business days. You'll get an email with your reference straight away, and we'll be in touch once it's approved to help you order.

Can the NDIS pay for a WonderFold?

Whether a WonderFold is funded is a decision for the NDIA, based on your plan and your therapist's advice. We can provide a quote and a tax invoice for self-managed and plan-managed participants, but we can't advise on eligibility.

My child's plan is NDIA-managed. Can I still apply?

Warriors pricing isn't available on NDIA-managed purchases. Talk to your support coordinator or LAC about your options, and call us on 1300 722 302 if we can help with product information.

Is a WonderFold a special needs pram?

Not in the medical sense: WonderFold stroller wagons are not medical devices or mobility aids. Many families of children with additional needs choose one because of the front zip door, the room inside (84 × 53 cm on a W4), the shade and the calmer, enclosed space. Talk to your OT about what suits your child.

Which WonderFold suits an older or taller child with additional needs?

Most families choose a W4 or W6: 45 kg per bench, room to stretch out, and the single seat or a removed bench frees floor space for equipment. Our Braeside team can talk it through on 1300 722 302.

Is a WonderFold a medical device or mobility aid?

No. WonderFold stroller wagons are not medical devices. Families tell us the space, the front door and the calm, shaded carriage make outings easier, but every child is different, so talk to your therapist about what suits yours.

What happens to my child's information?

It's stored securely and only used to assess your application and contact you about it. It isn't shared outside the Coolkidz team that handles Warriors.
